HCS Partners with PEACH Education Tax Credit Program to Support Henry County Public Schools Foundation

HENRY COUNTY, GA – Henry County Schools is participating in the Georgia Foundation for Public Education (GFPE) PEACH Education Tax Credit program to raise funds for the recently established Henry County Public Schools Foundation (HCPSF).

Henry County Schools launched HCPSF earlier this year to provide philanthropic support to enrich the learning experience and enhance educational outcomes across the district.

Georgia’s PEACH Education Tax Credit for schools offers assurance to HCS families and community stakeholders that PEACH Education Tax Credit contributions will help advance public education in the local community.

Funds raised through the program – all at a dollar-for-dollar tax credit for each donor – will go directly to HCPSF funding priorities, including scholarships, community engagement initiatives, the arts, STEM, athletics, and teacher support and innovation.

“We are proud to partner with the Georgia Foundation for Public Education PEACH Education Tax Credit program to provide our community with another avenue to support our growing Henry County Public Schools Foundation,” said HCS Superintendent Dr. John Pace III. “The work of the foundation and this exciting new partnership further reinforces our core belief that family and community involvement is critical to student success.”

The Georgia Foundation for Public Education exists to support educational excellence for students in Georgia. GFPE provides simple ways for donors to serve students in Georgia’s K-12 public school system impactfully by investing in projects and fostering relationships with donors – all to fund GFPE’s vision of public school excellence. GFPE collaborations create a better future for the 1.7 million students in Georgia’s public schools, including those in Henry County Schools.

“The Georgia Foundation for Public Education is dedicated to strengthening our state’s K-12 public education system,” said GFPE Executive Director Paige Buzbee Pushkin. “We are thrilled to partner with Henry County Schools to raise funds through the PEACH Education Tax Credit program to impact innovation and public education in Henry County directly – local money helping local students is a win for everyone.”
