Reading
Goal

Increase the percentage of 3rd - 5th grade students reading on or above grade level on the 2026 Georgia Milestones End of Grade Assessment from

  • 3rd grade: 60% - 65%
  • 4th grade: 46% - 51%
  • 5th grade: 53% - 58%

Math
Goal

Increase the percentage of 3rd - 5th grade students scoring proficient or distinguished in mathematics on the 2026 Georgia Milestones End of Grade Assessment from 

  • 3rd grade: 19% - 24%
  • 4th grade: 32% - 37%
  • 5th grade: 14% - 19%

Attendance Goal

Decrease the percentage of chronically absent students from 27% - 24% (3%)

Increase the percentage of students in rising 1st graders scoring average and above on the Spring 2026 GKIDS assessment in English Language Arts and Mathematics

Focus Area

To help students become stronger and more fluent readers, we will focus on the following areas to improve student reading and math skills:

  • Improve literary skills through consistent and and monitored practice at school and at home
  • Master the grade appropriate sight word list to help strengthen comprehension when reading
  • Improve number fluency skills through daily monitored practice at school and at home
